Thinking about Living Waters? Here are some thoughts from Pastor JJ:
Living Waters is a welcoming and inviting community of flawed, scarred and healed human beings. We are healed by the grace of Jesus Christ.
One Sunday after worship I spent time talking with someone who was visibly upset. Tears were streaming down their cheeks and they were struggling to find the words to explain how they were feeling. I assured them that of all the places I know Living Waters is the safest place to release your emotions and not to feel shame or be uncomfortable. People here care, because we follow Christ’s example to love deeply into the margins: the neglected, the rejected, the despised, or mis-understood.
When you enter the building you will immediately notice the cascading flow of the water wall. When you enter the sanctuary you’ll be drawn by the sound of the percolating water in the font. I invite you to pause a moment and fully experience the space. Reach out and touch the water that extends grace and new life to every person. All are welcome, because God welcomes all.
If you are looking for a faith community, accept this invitation. "Come and see." Open your heart and let go of your worries. Here there is a place for you, here you are welcome.

About Pastor JJ:
Prior to attending seminary, Pastor JJ worked for 29 years at International Flavors and Fragrances. She started as an analytical chemist, but had numerous positions over the year. She always sought opportunity to learn and help solve challenging issues. Her last position was Director of Procurement Processes and Systems. While working at IFF, Pastor JJ obtained her Masters of Business Administration and achieved certification as a Project Management Professional.
In 2013 she obtained a certificate in Youth and Family Ministry from Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary. Pastor JJ graduated from United Lutheran Seminary (Philadelphia campus) in May of 2020. Pastor JJ completed her internship at St. Paul Lutheran Church in East Windsor, NJ.
Pastor JJ is married to Colleen who is employed as a Systems Analyst for an insurance company. Pastor JJ has a daughter Mae who works at a business in Lakewood NJ. Their dog, Rusty, completes the family. Rusty is a certified pet therapist who accompanies Pastor JJ in her ministry work and is our chaplain in residence.
