BACKPACK DRIVE 2026

It is that time of year again! As the school year ends, we start planning for the next academic year!  Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSMNJ), with your support, will be supplying students living in LSMNJ affordable housing with school supplies.  They can use it all - from the traditional pens and notebooks to school uniforms and college application fees.  During July, we will be collecting supplies and backpacks for High School students.  On Sunday, August 2, after church, we will assemble the back packs.  See the list below of what is needed.  Any questions, contact Cindy Cooper.             High School Supplies (each student needs)     10 pack pencils     10 pack pen blue/black     10 pocket folders      2 highlighters      1 box-colored pencils       5- 3/5 subject spiral notebooks       USB flash drive 8GB       Hand sanitizer (small )       1 -3X3 sticky notes       Back pack for High School age If you’d like to donate money instead, visit the Online Giving section of the Living Waters’ website for “Monthly Service Project” here.
